Cumbria in 1959 by Bill Johnston. The practice has grown over
the decades and now operates from three offices across Cumbria,
from Whitehaven in the west to Kendal in the south supporting
the head office in Carlisle.
Enjoying an unparalleled history of housing projects in Cumbria,
Johnstons, Chartered Quantity Surveyors continue to specialise
in housing provision, now offering Employer's Agent, Contract
Administration and Clerk of Work services in conjunction with
the traditional Quantity Surveying role.
Service provision was further enhanced in the mid 1990's by
the addition of Project Management and Planning Supervision
with Johnstons, Chartered Quantity Surveyors now offering a
full range of disciplines to meet the diverse needs of our clients
throughout Cumbria, the North-East and North-West of England
and Southern Scotland.

wide range of procurement methods from Traditional through Design
& Build, Schedule of Rates and Management Contracting to current
